The National Audit of Care at the End of Life (NACEL) team were delighted to attend the Community Hospitals Association (CHA) Conference on 7–8 May 2026 for the second consecutive year, offering a valuable opportunity to connect with colleagues across the community hospital sector.

Thank you to those who have submitted the form so far. The NACEL Team continues to invite colleagues from participating organisations to complete a brief, 5-minute form to share your feedback on how NACEL 2026 has been progressing so far.

On the Dashboard view, users may now see their January - March 2026 data. In addition, users may now see ongoing 2026 Patient and Carer Tool metrics in a table to match the 2025 and 2024 tabs.

For NACEL 2024, 68 case studies were selected to showcase good work based on the narrative that was submitted from hospitals to the NACEL Hospital/Site Overview.
