Thank you for your continued participation in NACEL 2025. Data collection for NACEL opened on in January 2025 and participation rates continue to increase. See an update on data submission figures below.

The next NACEL QI webinar is taking place on
Thursday 26th June 2025, 12-1pm. 

The webinar's focus will be on spiritual, religious and cultural needs in the last days of life.

Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) now have direct access to the NACEL Data and Improvement Tool.

The purpose of providing ICBs access to the NACEL Data and Improvement Tool is to support targeted improvements in the quality of care provided to patients at the end of life. This access should empower ICBs to take a more informed, system-wide approach to end of life care. This change in approach has been agreed between NHSE and HQIP who are joint controllers for the collection and use of NACEL data.
