Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) now have direct access to the NACEL Data and Improvement Tool.
This access should empower ICBs to take a more informed, system-wide approach to end of life care.
The purpose of providing ICBs access to the NACEL Data and Improvement Tool is to support targeted improvements in the quality of care provided to patients at the end of life. This access should empower ICBs to take a more informed, system-wide approach to end of life care. This change in approach has been agreed between NHSE and HQIP who are joint controllers for the collection and use of NACEL data.

NACEL 2024 participation
Thank you to all the organisations that participated in NACEL 2024! We are pleased to announce that we had record numbers of data submitted with high data completeness.
Thank you to all the organisations that participated in NACEL 2024! We are pleased to announce that we had record numbers of data submitted with high data completeness. 168 organisations contributed to data collection across 244 submissions, of which, 187 were acute submissions and 57 were community submissions.
